06:47 PM ET 02.07 | The 2012 Olympics in London were supposed to send USA Basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski off a winning man, but there's a chance that chairman Jerry Colangelo and Team USA will leave the door open for the Duke coach's return to the national team. It was first expected that the national team would move forward in naming a successor to Krzyzewski by early 2013 after he said that the London games would be his last. San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich and Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers were two rumored candidates. But ESPN reports that the decision in choosing the next leader of Team USA has been pushed back. Krzyzewski told ESPN that he has not thought about changing his mind. "Nothing has changed with me," Krzyzewski told ESPN. "Usually in these situations, they don't do it while basketball season is going on. Nothing has changed. Right now, obviously -- I love USA Basketball -- but I'm trying to keep my head above water with my own team."
