Howard downplays Kobe's 'urgency' comment

06:57 PM ET 02.07 | Kobe Bryant told ESPN earlier this week that teammate Dwight Howard needed urgency in figuring out if he could play through the pain of a shoulder injury that has kept him out of action. The comment sounded like a questioning of Howard's pain tolerance, and the piece prompted a frigid response from Howard anyway. And despite Bryant later calling the tone of the article by Jackie MacMullan "surprising," then saying he isn't trying to push Howard past his own limits, it's just the newest round of drama in the Lakers locker room. "That's his opinion, that's it," Howard told ESPN LA regarding Bryant's comments about urgency. "He's not a doctor, I'm not a doctor. That's his opinion." Howard planned to return against the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

Kobe needs a hug from Howard soon, for the Lakers are totally off the Radar as a decent team. Heck even the Cavs a better upside this year then the Lakers.

why do you have a picture of lebra and wa-wa-wade when the article is about the lakers
