Lions GM: Young held zero trade value

07:55 AM ET 02.08 | If you were wondering why Titus Young wound up being released, an answer became clear on Thursday. [Young's] trade value was so low when the Lions placed him on waivers this week that general manager Martin Mayhew said he didn't even try to move him to another team. "He didn't really have any trade value," Mayhew said [Thursday]. "I didn't talk to anybody, I didn't call 32 GMs and try to get a seventh-if or anything like that. It's my job to know sort of what his value is, and he didn't have any trade value." The Lions released Young on Monday, the first day transactions were allowed following the Super Bowl, after repeated acts of insubordinate behavior last season.

The Lions got the worst Coach in football, this guy needs a coach like Jeff Fisher who can help guide him, not mention hook him up with a pretty good quarterback! Look for Young to do well in St Louis!!

Yeah, but he's yet to do anything that will make him Sam Hurd's cellmate, see. That's later. What I don't understand about people like Titus is how they can see 10,000 articles detailing what head cases they are without catching on and attempting to do something about it.
