Did Indiana blow its Big Ten title hopes?

08:15 AM ET 02.08 | With under five minutes to play Thursday, it seemed the Hoosiers had things wrapped up, leading by 10 on the road in Champaign. And then the roof fell in. Or, to be more indelicate about it, the Hoosiers blew it, taking their foot off the gas offensively, busting coverages defensively. ... This is not one of those year with an uber-team, nobody casting a shadow like last year's Kentucky team. In the big picture, being No. 1 in February doesn't really matter. But winning the Big Ten regular-season title matters. It matters a lot. And the Hoosiers, who will need to go 15-3 or 14-4 in order to win the conference, just put a large stake through those chances. This was a game they couldn't afford to let slip away.

" With under five minutes to play Thursday,..." What is this, the Twilight Zone?

Kinda like a bloody Rock,Paper ,Sissors conferance up there.

I didn't realize regular season titles were still of any significance these days.

QUOTE(#1):

To answer the headline: I think not. The B1G is in fratricide mode right now. Yet, even if the Hoosiers don't win the B1G title, there's still the post-season tourny to grab and a good seeding at the Big Dance. That's where the rubber meets the road.

Indiana doesn't play well away from Bloomington. I'd say the home loss vs Wisconsin was the killer. Indiana is looking at 12-6 in the Big 10 as they start the hard part of their schedule.

Indiana doesn't get the calls when they are away from Bloomington.

FIFY.
