08:16 AM ET 02.08 | As the would-be slot receiver in Urban Meyer's system, Jalin Marshall will have the ball in hands -- a lot. With Marshall, Dontre Wilson of Texas and James Clark of Florida, the Buckeyes should get a lot better [at that postion]. And that should change the whole game. ... Wilson, who committed to Ohio State on Monday, and Clark, who announced his choice Wednesday morning, got most of the publicity this week as Southern stars who made splashy late moves to be Buckeyes. Marshall, a homestate player, gave his pledge for than a year ago, but he shouldn't be lost in the shuffle. He could be the best of the group. ... "I think he's one -- I don't think, everybody knows he's one -- of the finest players in the country," Meyer said.

Up early, GTH. So, lose to an unworthy opponent, and the Bucknuts will start calling him, "Frank?"

Saw Marshall in the Army All-American Bowl and he looked outstanding.

Looking forward to "The Game".

QUOTE(#2):

Should be a relatively easy path in '13 with tOSU's OOC schedule and the B1G being as weak as it is on the whole. Woe be unto the Urbanator if he should drop a game to unworthy opponents. The Buckeye faithful will howl for his liver. (There, that's sure to give UFM anxiety.)

Even you have to admit that final game in A2 will not be a "cake walk".

HiYa, Yooper. TSUN, as much as I'd hate to admit it, is not on the "unworthy opponent" list. I've even got an offer to attend The Game 11/30/13, but logistical difficulties may make that impossible.

Nice Offer!!

Wish I had one of those. :-)

Like you said in another post . . . we might be headed to another big 2, little 12 situation.

Not because MSU, Wiscy, Nebraska, etc. are getting worse . . . but Urban and Hoke are going to another level.

I think there still will be some competitive games outside of the tOSU vs. Mich (TSUN) with the aforementioned teams but those two are going to be outstanding. [Michigan may still be a year away but tOSU is ready to roll, I believe.]

Marshall and that WR from Fla that you guys picked up look outstanding.

I herewith coin the term, "HokeMeyer" for the never-ending donnybrook that's just getting started. Years hence, when two seemed locked in a contest from which neither will retreat or surrender, you'll overhear someone say, "What a HokeMeyer. There's no end to this."

Frag it! The game's up north. Well, I'm overdue for a visit to the state in which my wife was born. After Detroit, Ann Arbor should be a piece of pie.

Funny!

Looking forward to the next "HokeMeyer" already. :-)
