08:19 AM ET 02.08 | John Giannone has himself a hockey badge of honor. MSG Network's Rangers sideline man was hit in the face with a puck near the end of the second period of the Rangers 4-1 victory over the Islanders at the Garden Thursday night -- and he stayed in the game, even as blood flowed down his face. Marc Staal floated a puck toward the box from where Giannone was reporting -- and it caught the veteran reporter right on the bridge of the schnozz. "It's all good," Giannone said after he was plunked. "Marc Staal came over and apologized (on the way to the locker room for 2nd intermission)." ... After mugging for the camera with a bloody face, Giannone was quickly tended to by trainer Jim Ramsay, who patched him up as Giannone returned to finish the game.
