RG was not that big of a loss. Only the timing of his departure hurt us IMO. Grantham leaving would be a bigger deal. Still, not in trouble as u say, IMO.

You probably won't like me saying this this, but I've always thought Richt would be a great fit at Texas once Mack retires.

Well I like it better than hot seat talk, means he's doing something right. Richt is a good guy and a good coach. There are better coaches but not a lot of them. I would be surprised for him to leave for another gig on his own accord, but you never know one's motivation and desires. I really would love to see him get that crystal....obviously bc I'm a dawg fan but also bc it would shut the richt haters up.

So I'm wondering where so many of the regulars are these days? Are their feelers still hurt from the mods? Or isn't just that time of year now?

Hey it's only me at this point!
It seems to me his values and integrity fit what UTx likes. Plus Searles is already there (hoping he stays long term).

No it happens all the time. The coaches that don't get hired many time will release a statement that they are staying. A day or two later the guy that gets the job is announced.
What happened today? Ryan is announced as DC of the Saints.
