Anquan Boldin to consider retirement

06:10 PM ET 02.08 | Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin isn't necessarily holding the keys to his future. The Ravens are set to have cap issues with their current roster as they prepare to try and make a repeat run at a Super Bowl Championship. It is possible that Boldin could become a cap casualty and if that is the case, he will consider retirement.

He's worth the Money!!!

No shortage of teams who would be willing to pay him

Awesome receiver, get the ball near him and he pulls it in.

No shame in going out a winner. Never will forget that hit he took to his jaw as a Cardinal. Came right back too. Only missed a couple of games. Tough as hell.

Good strategy! Retirement talk always worked for Favr.... oops, almost went there!

I think Boldin's got at least two more years in him.

Maybe even three.

Doesn't get separation from any CB due to his lack of speed but always seem to catch everything thrown his way regardless. Dude is strong as hell and would be a #1b WR on any team.

Anquan is one of the best and I'm glad he got his ring. Well deserved.

A bunch have to go if they want to sign Joey. A bunch.

Boldin was more responsible for their getting to the playoffs and winning the Super Bowl than Flacco did. Boldin would be a fool to retire when there are teams out there that would give him a truck load of cash to play for them for 2 years or so . Without Boldin Baltimore can lower Flaccos new contract because he was nothing before Boldin came to the team and he'll be nothing when Bolding leaves, unless they can find a comparable WR with Boldins skills.

Agreed just like Jerry Rice was with Joe Montana, I often wonder how good Joe would have done without Jerry and Johnny would have done without Raymond Berry and how Bradshaw would have done without Lynn Swan!!! Funny how Quarterbacks get all the credit, ain't it?

The ball game is won and lost at the line of scrimmage.

I got called a moron a while back when I said Boldin made Flacco look better, the guy rarely misses catching anything thrown his way, no matter how good or bad the throw

Well then you're in luck!

Considering Joe Montana had already won two Super Bowls before the 49ers drafted Jerry Rice, all you need to do is look at the 1979-1984 NFL seasons.
