11:09 AM ET 02.09 | Alex Rodriguez's link to the Biogenesis anti-aging clinic is "a concern" for the Yankees, Hal Steinbrenner admitted Friday. But, the Yanks' managing general partner added: "It's out of our hands. We'll cooperate with MLB in any way we can, any way we're asked to. Other than that there's not much to say. I know as much as you do." Rodriguez, who has admitted using PEDs from 2001-03 while with Texas, was listed among records at Anthony Bosch's now-shuttered clinic in Miami, according to a report in the Miami New Times. As the Daily News reported Jan. 26, Major League Baseball and the Drug Enforcement Administration are investigating Bosch, an A-Rod associate, for allegedly supplying performance-enhancing drugs to players. Through a statement from his PR firm, Rodriguez denied being treated or advised by Bosch and claimed that the Biogenesis records are "not legitimate."

Translation:

"We are concerned because he got caught and because all of the PEDs in the world can't help this guy sniff a hit in the postseason."

I'm surprised Steinbrenner was even able to make a statement because of the snow.

He's probably in Florida.

Maybe A-PED should be considering an abode with a parking garage that is Feeb-proof instead of paparazzi-proof.

this and that, should teach any major league baseball team that out of options contracts shouldn't need to be renovated or modified at any point, should the player opt out of the contract? let him walk away who knows that specified player could been doing a hugh favor to his own team,,,,,

The Yankees didn't negotiate with Derek Jeter before the end of his contract why would they do so with Cano?

love the names above, "A-PED" and "Fraudriguez" - somehow had not heard those before. We can say we don't blame this guy for the size of his contract, however he never would have received it if not for cheating the game. This guy is a low-life - cheats on his wife, cheats at baseball. I'm not a Yankees fan (other than Jeter), but I'd love to see the Yanks get out of this contract!

Matters not, it is all up to MLB and Selig in the end, and all he can do by contract is suspend him 50 games.
