09:45 AM ET 02.10 | As the Phoenix Suns try to reshuffle their roster for the future, their front office remains motivated to try to acquire New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. The Suns are willing to give New York a package that includes forward Jared Dudley and possibly a future first-round pick for Shumpert, but the Knicks have so far shown no inclination to do such a deal, sources said.

QUOTE(#6):

Why would Phoenix want him? He just came back from an injury and he is just a mediocre player. They already have too much mediocre player w/ his position.

You must not know basketball. Sump is a young Defensive player and the Suns want to change their Identity.

QUOTE(#11):

Shump is not as great as you guys make it sound to be. He is valuable but he is not the savior for any team. When you make a comment like you must not know bball for a mediocre player than obviously you're a homer and are the one that don't know bball. And the Knicks were playing great w/out Shumpert for the longest time. I say overrated...

Shump is a great perimeter defender and essential to our plans to take the east. Anyone who knows basketball, knows this

Lord PLEASE don't give up shump for a mediocre, marginal nba player in dudley.......PLEASE

he's a real nice player- but for a surefire LOTTO pick (phoenix) ANd a top-15 SF? Knicks won't see a pick like that for a few years.
