03:34 PM ET 02.10 | The Denver Nuggets roster could broadly be described as a deep, diverse group of players, most of whom are above-average in talent. The team has no superstar, however, and coach George Karl has no problems about it. In fact, he appears to be using the roster makeup as a rallying cry. At 33-18 on the season and fourth in the Western Conference, Karl isn't worrying about what he doesn't have. He likes what he does. "There are only about 10 or 11 superstars in the league," Karl told Ohio.com. "You can talk superstar, you can talk special talent, great big guys, great guards, great point guards, at the end of the game, the champion we will crown in June is always the team that plays as a team and plays with the team mentality first and not talent first ... We're going to try to shock the world and become the first team to win a championship without a superstar ??? or without an All-Star."

Keeping Melo wasn't the Nuggets decision to make. It was Melo's.
