05:11 PM ET 02.10 | Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley thinks he has a 50/50 shot to remain with the team next season. The 25-year old has been rumored to be a salary cap casualty this offseason, as cutting him would save the team over $8 million in 2013. It's possible that he could take a pay cut to remain with the team, but beyond money, Finley's future with the team may hinge on his relationship with teammates and the coaching staff.

He will have to elevate his play this season.

There's a reason why people call him Jermichael Findrop. He's outta there.

I agree. There are better TE's out there.

I actually think its more than 50/50/ Reason: the Pack have so many needs on this team that to give him what he is asking solves one problem for one year. Otherwise, they now have another problem, finding a replacement. I see about 12 people on the team that needs to be cut because they are underpeformers and drag the team down.

The Patriots have a few.

The Packers will throw to anyone with half an NFL talent, and yet Finley fell off the map this year. Pretty telling...

The Packers have one of the best passers in the game, think about it, he can make a lot of guys look a lot more open than they are. Wes Welker would be an outstanding addition for that kind of money! If of course BB lets him go! They need guys who can get open!!!!
