High school football players can sign a binding letter of intent with a college starting Wednesday. But Jeannette (Pa.) quarterback Terrelle Pryor might not sign with anyone that day. Pryor had planned to announce his college decision live on ESPN Wednesday. But he said yesterday he might wait at least a few days to make his choice. "I'd say it's about 50-50 that I'll push things back," Pryor said. One of the main reasons Pryor might not sign Wednesday is because he is thinking about making an official visit to the University of Oregon some time next week. Pryor also said yesterday Penn State is not out of the running.

Forget Oregon, sign with Boston College. They know how to produce NFL ready Quarterbacks. Look at Matt Ryan, almost guaranteed top 5 pick if not #1.

Never! BC does not run the spread. Oregon does which is why they are still in the picture.

January 31, 2008  06:54 AM ET

We Are!...Penn State!

I doubt he leaves offers from PSU and OSU on the table in favor of Oregon.

How about a Notre Dame story?

This kid is MILKING these programs to the bone! He's taking this visit, then he's not, then he is again. This school is out of the picture, then it's back in. Exploit this opportuity now kid because whatever school you pick, they'll expect a 100-fold return on the field (and some).

January 31, 2008  09:20 AM ET

I agree D Sliq....this kid is enjoying the attention.

January 31, 2008  09:31 AM ET

I'm a UofM grad and I'm sick of this kid, his hype & his indecision.
Go to Oregon- go to JoPa- Go to OSU!! Just get out of the news.

January 31, 2008  09:50 AM ET

This guy is making too much out of his recruitment and he is almost addicted to the Media Hype about him. He fished LSU just because they were National Champs and they were not recruiting him at the time. So, he put himself on LSU's list to be sure they would talk with him. Then to make it look good he scheduled a visit but then cancelled at the last minute.

Going to Oregon from Pennsylvania is a big move when OSU and Um are right in his back yard. I think he is a quality guy and will be a good one, but he needs to stop fishing and make his decision. I think Penn State is just being mentioned because they are the local school, but I think it will be either UM or OSU with PSU as 3rd place.

Ironfinch:

BC is not even on Pryor's radar anyway, but why is BC such a great pro producer anyway. Outside of Doug Flutie and maybe Ryan this year, they are all that I know of.

I would say Michigan , LSU, Texas, Tennessee, and USC are producing pro QBs lately. LSU had Jamarcus Russell the # 1 from last year, and Michigan has Brady, Griese, Tennessee has Manning, Texas has Vince Young, and USC has Matt Lienart. Maybe even historically Notre Dame, but sorry I would have to question BC as a pro QB production program.

I doubt he leaves offers from PSU and OSU on the table in favor of Oregon.

How about a Notre Dame story?

Here's your story ps forever - on NLOI (signing day) Notre Dame will sign 20 recruits, a class ranked in the top 5 of the nation. As for your Nittany Lions,
EVEN if pryor picks penn st. your recruiting class would STILL SUCK!! Scout. com has your team ranked # 29 overall, & 6th out of 11 in the little 10! So far psu has 15 kids who will sign on Feb 6.

January 31, 2008  10:12 AM ET

This is getting ridiculous. I hope he comes to OSU of course but come on. This kid has had pretty much 2 years to come to a solid decision. I hope he's just having a hard time deciding and not just milking this. To make a decision after signing day is just stringing these schools along. If not for the talent I wish OSU could just pull the offer. If he signs with OSU though I'll be doing back flips down High Street.

January 31, 2008  10:21 AM ET

At least you're truthful with yourself, backnut. If he considered my school, I'd feel the same way. A part of me wants to pull the offer (and other schools pull the offer at the exact same time) and another part would be happy if he picked us.

January 31, 2008  10:24 AM ET

Best pro QB producing school = Tulane. Last 4 quarterbacks all signed pro contracts, Not all thrived, but 3 of the 4 are still in the league. Sean King, Patrick Ramsey, JP Losman, and Lester Ricard (practice squad w/ Jaguars)

January 31, 2008  10:42 AM ET

Me Me Me. Go away already. Probaly will shread both of his knees in the next two years anyway.

January 31, 2008  10:44 AM ET

Laxgolie,

Are you trying to get him not to go to Tualne? You've done an excellant job of that with your examples, all other college programs thank you.

January 31, 2008  11:37 AM ET

Stay near home!!! Have more friends!! Play in front of the best fans in the nation!!! Play for a legend coach!!! What more can you ask for????? GO TO PENN STATE!!!!

January 31, 2008  11:37 AM ET

Hey Sexton, I don't even know where to start with you. I'm speechless.

How much do you love UCLA?

January 31, 2008  11:43 AM ET

NotreLame: Consistantly losing bowl games since 1995....says it all.

January 31, 2008  11:43 AM ET

If this kid is getting honest advice and guidance from Charlie Batch et al, he will forget about Ohio State and Michigan and choose between Oregon and Penn State. By all accounts, this kid realizes that the NBA is a sure fire thing whereas the NFL is a longshot (at QB) at this point in his career and would be an even longer shot at Michigan. RichRod has said that he might allow him to play both but given his brief history, no is the likely answer as he has wagered his job on getting Pryor and his play on the field. This leaves Ohio State, Penn State and Oregon as the three best options. Both parents have stated that they want him to graduate with a good degree.

This basically eliminates Ohio State and Michigan (when you discount the useless general studies major, they don't graduate players). He would certainly graduate at Penn State and would likely graduate at Oregon. Oregon and Penn State have the top facilities in the nation for football and with the new renovation, among the nations top hoops facilities as well. If the kid is smart and getting sound advice, he will stay away from Michigan where the situation is already set to implode around DickRod, and would not have to deal with the pressure from fans and school officials who over-value the program and its non-status among the nations elite. In short, he would be in a position where the only thing he could do is fail as he would have more pressure than Ron Powlus did and without great talent around him. If he wants to graduate, he should eliminate Ohio State where his chances are slim. If he is smart, and all involved have his best interests in mind, he should choose either Penn State or Oregon. Ohio State should be a secondary option and Michigan should not be an option as that program is in for a Nebraska like fall in the next couple of years.

I think this kid has school picked. Right now he just getting whatever attention he can. This kid better do something amazing come September. But more then likely he will be a bust his first year. ie. Jimmy Clausen (atleast he knew where he was going as a junior)
