02:24 PM ET 02.11 | Kevin Wilson stole a coach from Oklahoma, bringing longtime colleague offensive line coach James Patton to his staff at Indiana.
Patton has worked alongside Wilson for a total of 14 seasons: six at Miami (Ohio), three at Northwestern, and five at Oklahoma before Wilson left his offensive coordinator position to be the head coach of the Hoosiers. What's strange about the move is that he'll take a completely different role at Indiana: Patton had been the offensive line coach with the Sooners, at Indiana, he'll be the recruiting coordinator, special teams coordinator and assistant defensive line coach.

What's the word, OK fans? How's the staff look, now? Who's replacing Patton?

Step by step, Wilson is building the Indiana football program. I hope the IU administration gives him enough time (five more years?) and financial support to establish a contending program.
