04:08 PM ET 02.11 | Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn will be returning to Toronto for the first time since being traded this past offseason by the Maple Leafs for forward James van Riemsdyk. Originally chosen with the No. 5 overall selection in the 2008 NHL Draft, Schenn was considered a key piece of the Maple Leafs organization. However, he failed to live up to the lofty expectations placed upon him and became criticized for his inconsistent play while part of the franchise. Once considered an untouchable piece, Schenn became expendable this past offseason when the club acquired the big-bodied forward they had been searching for in van Riemsdyk.

So, why is that significant? Other than the fact he doesn't have to stay there longer than he has to?
