Is Singler the future at small forward in Detroit?

05:36 PM ET 02.11 | For roughly 10 years, small forward wasn't an issue for the Detroit Pistons thanks to a man named Tayshaun Prince. But with Prince dealt to Memphis recently in the Rudy Gay trade, the team needs a new long-term solution at the position. Could former Duke star Kyle Singler be that guy? For a rookie getting more playing time than only three other first-year players, all drafted in the top six, the possibility certainly exists. While he notes that "Tayshaun and my games are different," Singler has the length and shooting ability that most teams crave these days. If the early signs are any indication, the Pistons may have uncovered a gem in the second round last year.
