Ole Miss sends 54 handwritten letters to recruit

06:37 PM ET 02.11 | The Ole Miss Rebels were one of the big winners on National Signing Day when they were able to land a historic recruiting class that included three players who were ranked No. 1 at their position - Robert Nkemdiche (No. 1 DE), Laquon Treadwell (No. 1 WR) and Laremy Tunsil (No. 1 OT). While there were some questions raised about the tactics Ole Miss used to land their recruits, there was no wrongdoing to be found. Now, a 2014 recruit is giving us some insight to the tactics Ole Miss is using on the recruiting trail. It may not be a violation of any NCAA rules, but it certainly seems to be annoying for a player and mailman to be slammed with so many letters. Four-star linebacker recruit Clifton Garrett sent out an image on Instagram of letters he was receiving from Division I programs that were expressing their interest. Out of the 59 letters sent to Garrett, 54 were handwritten letters from Ole Miss. Check out the image and more on FanSided.com.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.
New rules say you can send out unlimited posters, note cards, etc. You can text or call any junior or senior at any time. College coaches won't have to call or go through the high school coach anymore. You can have anyone and everyone in the athletic dept. recruit on campus. The head coach and 9 assistants can be off campus recruiting (instead of 7). No regulations on the number of personnel people you can have, maybe even some NFL personnel hired to evaluate videos etc.
I feel sorry for the kids and the HS coaches who will be the losers in all of this.

No delivery on Saturdays now. College recruiting could suffer.

I wouldn't date a girl or guy who sent me 54 handwritten letters in one day, and I wouldn't want to go to a school that was pathetically begging me to attend. I also would never consider going to Ole Miss under any condition. And I never say never.

If that handwritten letter said something like "you wanna be up in my p***y?" ... I believe it would get your attention. That's probably how Ole Miss landed such a stellar class.
