09:51 PM ET 02.11 | It's known as one of the worst tragedies in the NBA. Jay Williams had a great career ahead of him. Drafted second overall in the 2002 NBA draft and an NCAA Champion with the Duke Blue Devils, Williams was about to become the new face of the Chicago Bulls franchise, and occupy the previously vacant locker owned by Michael Jordan. Unfortunately, the rookie with so much potential crashed his motorcycle, demolished his leg and never played in the NBA again. Williams opened up and revealed that he had reached an all-time low and attempted suicide after the crash.

I agree with AC.
Also, just knowing that you miss out on tens of millions of dollars. It has to be hard when you are finally at that stage, all you do is play your heart out and cash. When that ship sails, I can imagine you hit rock bottom.
In the end, why did he get on that bike? No licence, never/barely driven one before, his contract says he can't ride bikes,...

Tough sh.....t. Everybody got it rough, not just you. The only difference was that you were weak enough to try and commit suicide.
