Titans overhauling offense for Locker

08:01 AM ET 02.12 | Year 3 will look a little different for Jake Locker -- and perhaps a lot. The process of restructuring the offense and tailoring it to Locker's strengths falls to offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains, who got a five-week head start on his new job when he replaced Chris Palmer in November. "We feel like Jake is the face of our franchise going forward. He did a nice job last year battling through injuries and showed his toughness and character," Loggains said. ... It would make sense to incorporate some things that would play to Locker's talents. ... That might mean even exploring some of the pistol or read-option into the playbook on occasion. "We're going to do just like every team in the league and look at clubs like Seattle and Washington."

Locker will never be a great quarterback, but he can be good. Unfortunately, "good" rarely leads you to a Super Bowl championship.

"Year 3 will look a little different"........if it doesn't, Bud will be firing pistol towards Munchak....this is his do or die year...Titans have to improve a lot.....hope all the changes work out.....going to be interesting......

Didn't some basketball player get in trouble a few years back by putting a pistol in his locker?

He's still alive?! I thought they just propped up that powder blue suit.

When the best thing you can say about your QB is that he showed " toughness and character," then you are building a house of cards.

Great news for the TEXANS!

The Titans aren't the AFC South team that the Texans need to worry about.

Good Luck Guys, it's not going to be easy!!!

And we all know if Bud likes his QB that he will overrule any decision the coach may want, but he wouldn't be the first owner to act that way.

Titans have way too many issues than just getting better QB play from Locker.

"We're going to do just like every team in the league and look at clubs like Seattle and Washington."

But you don't have Russell Wilson or RGIII. Locker isn't going to be able to run the pistol like them.
