Rams interview Walton for DC job

02:27 PM ET 02.12 | The St. Louis Rams interviewed Detroit Lions secondary coach Tim Walton for their vacant defensive coordinator position on Monday. Walton was the third candidate to receive an interview since Rob Ryan turned down the job, joining Dick Jauron and Mike Singletary. The Lions' secondary wasn't exactly stellar in 2012, ranking 14th in the NFL by allowing opponents to compile 223.1 passing yards per game. Detroit gave up 26 passing touchdowns, which tied for 19th in the league, and the team allowed opposing quarterbacks to compile a 91.7 passer rating, which ranked 24th.
