06:16 PM ET 02.12 | NBA players are businessmen, and businessmen are all about numbers. For basketball players, shooting percentages are one such statistic, and a recent inquiry showed that they think about it, especially when they consider hoisting halfcourt buzzer-beaters. Daily Thunder's Royce Young asked members of the Oklahoma City Thunder if they hold off on such low-percentage shots to help field goal percentages. While point guard Russell Westbrook fittingly said he doesn't, teammate Kevin Durant admitted he puts some good thought into those attempts. "It depends on what I'm shooting from the field," Durant told Young. "First quarter if I'm 4-for-4, I let it go. Third quarter if I'm like 10-for-16, or 10-for-17, I might let it go. But if I'm like 8-for-19, I???m going to go ahead and dribble one more second and let that buzzer go off and then throw it up there. So it depends on how the game???s going."

I would be absolutely infuriated if I was coach of the Thunder, and would make sure Durant was on the bench at the end of each quarter.
