06:25 PM ET 02.12 | Carmelo Anthony has the New York Knicks in second place in the Eastern Conference behind perhaps the best season of his career. Yet, Anthony is making no hints that he should be in the MVP debate. That's because the conference-leading Miami Heat are led by LeBron James, who is perhaps having one of the best stretches of games in recent memory. James is averaging 31 points, seven rebounds and six assists while shooting over 71 percent from the field. "It's All-Star break right now. I mean, he???s definitely playing like a Most Valuable Player so we'll see what happens when it comes to that," Anthony told ZagsBlog.com. "What he's doing right now is unbelievable. He's scored 30-something points on 11 shots and 10-for-12 and things like that. I mean, he's on an incredible run right now. I???ve never seen nothing like it."
