08:07 AM ET 02.13 | Is there a chance Derrick Rose won't play this season? Rose oddly broached that possibility himself in a USA Today exclusive Tuesday that demanded everybody's attention because it raised questions that go beyond the stability of his knee -- questions perhaps not even the Bulls can answer. ... The broader issue involves how much influence [B.J. Armstrong] and others at Wasserman will wield in determining whether Rose returns in late February or March or waits to re-launch his career next fall. If you accept the premise that Rose raising the possibility that he might miss the entire season represents an choreographed move by his agency, then it's not hard to imagine Rose's handlers having input into when he returns.

He'll never 100% because 100% was when he was never injured.

He said he would come back when he was 110%. Guess he's not coming back. Unless, as someone else said, he is as good as before, and developed a dependable midrange jumper.

Although the Bulls have played well most of the season, they have had there low points (like losing to the Bobkittens & an aging Spurs team without their 3 stars). So what's the rush. Play it safe and let D. Rose take his time and rehab the right way. Make Sure when the 2013-2014 Season starts that he's 100% mind, body & soul. Then make your run at the championship.

I thought he said he had to be 110% which I don't see how that can ever happen either

Rose is what happens when you pay someone $19MM a year. He's waiting until he feels perfect which isn't going to happen. He's been nicked up since high school. Eventually his team or teammates will move on without him.
