08:14 AM ET 02.13 | UConn junior center Enosch Wolf may have more to worry about than his indefinite suspension. If convicted of the charges being brought against him, [Wolf] could soon run into issues with immigration. Wolf, a native of Goettingen, Germany, and a German citizen, was arrested Monday morning and charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal trespass in the first degree and disorderly conduct. ... [Burglary] in the third degree is a class D felony in the state of Connecticut, and could provide Wolf with a host of issues if he is found guilty. In addition to the sentence that could result from a guilty verdict, a conviction could potentially lead to Wolf's deportation, according to Renee Redman, a New Haven-based immigration attorney.

Process him through the courts. If he's convicted, deport him after he's served his time.

Deport him now. I don't want my taxes going towards his upkeep.

He's been charged: not convicted. No telling what it's all about.

Purportedly, he entered a woman's dorm room unbidden. He refused to leave when aksed/told to do so. He grabbed the woman by the hair and manhandled her. He was intimidating and threatening.

I miss Paul Harvey. Right about now he'd be saying, "...and now... the rest of the story."

Would you be saying the same thing if he were from the south side of Chicago, or Brownsville Brooklyn, instead of Germany?

Yes, as a matter of fact. It's called due process. We cannot, under almost any circumstance, let any arm of our government take punitive action against us (even foreign nationals) without some form of hearing. If he's guilty, though, auf wiedersehen.

This.

assuming that his reported behavior is factual, do they not think of consequences with immigration and the law in general.

Deport him now. Embarrassment to UConn and the fine job that COY Kevin Ollie is doing. I hope he doesn't step foot on the prestigious courts in XL and Gampel ever again. He's lost the right to put on the Husky uniform!
