07:58 AM ET 02.14 | For his part, sidelined superstar Derrick Rose said Wednesday night that he doesn't really know when he'll return to the court. "I'm feeling good, but like I said, if it's where it's taking a long time and I'm still not feeling right, I don't mind missing this year." ... When asked about what would signal to him personally that he was ready to play again, Rose responded, "Being able to dunk. I can't dunk. I know that if I can dunk off stride, I know I'll be out there playing, but I can't." While Rose will ultimately make the decision about when to come back, he did cite a number of people, including his agent, former Bulls guard B.J. Armstrong, as well as members of the Bulls organization, as key in the decision-making process.

Yeah, then they can go join the Cavs who never even got close.

This is all being orchestrated by the Bulls. They traded away a solid bench in the offseason. They're contemplating trading away arguably the best player on their team right now, aside from Rose (Boozer). And now they're basically shutting down Rose for the year. This is all in attempt to land a considerably high draft pick and pair Rose with a solid second player to compete for next year. They know they don't stand a chance this year, with or without Rose playing.

Their second best player is Noah, not Boozer, and the plan was always for next year smart one.

So then why is Boozer playing like the best and Noah isn't? Noah started off the year in a promising fashion and then fell off. Boozer is the only positive this year aside from Luol Deng, who never gets his dues. Lets hear your response to this one, Chitown's Disgrace.

Did I say that they're not playing well right now, bub? And 5th best in the East is nothing to be proud of, bub. Once they further dismantle their team by trading Boozer, then they'll have all but given up on the season, bub. And I don't don't smoke, bub.

Lol, first off, what are you fourteen? Chitown's Disgrace? Grow some damn chest hair bro. Second, Noah is the most consistent, and intangible player we have. There's a reason people much smarter than you would get rid of him way before they got rid of Noah. Now why don't you go back and read a comic book. Adults are talking now.

There's nothing to be gained by Rose trying to come back before he's ready. As soon as he re-injures himself, the talk of "injury prone" will start. If he doesn't feel as though he's 100%, he probably isn't.

Exactly. Rushing back from injuries last year (ankle/hamstring) may have contributed to him tearing his knee up. He should take his time and come back when he is comfortable. He means too much to the Bulls to rush this process.
