Dice-K seeking revenge on Red Sox?

08:04 AM ET 02.14 | Considering the kind of money he made in Boston, Red Sox fans might reasonably expect Daisuke Matsuzaka to be thanking the team. [Matsuzaka] officially signed his minor-league contract with the Indians on Wednesday and -- if a Tweet by MLB.com's Jordan Bastian is accurate -- appeared to fire a shot across the Red Sox bow: One reason Dice-K picked the Indians? They're in the AL. "I want to pitch against Boston," he said through interpreter Jeff Cutler. ... Really? You went 17-22 with a 5.53 ERA in 56 artless, torturous appearances from 2009 to today. This, somehow, is the Red Sox' fault? You feel the need for vengeance against the Red Sox for paying you $37 million over the last four years?

What a tool.

Can't pitch his way out of a paper bag (which he should put over his head). ERA 2012: 8.71

Good for him. This shows initiative.

That might be all he has left.

Revenge? Mabey if he flew a Zero plane into Fenway

Haha, I was wondering who'd be the first to say something along those lines.

Sure the Red Sox are tools, but take it easy on your team, buddy.

I'm thinking something has been lost in translation. He's never been an emotional player on the mound. If it is for him all about how he was mistreated by the Red Sox, I doubt he would have reunited with his old manager. He's going to Cleveland for the same reason he went to Boston: for a check. Only now, the check is a lot smaller.

On another note: to all you Mass peeps: have you ever heard of a place in Hingham called Hitchcock Shoes? They sell boots for those of us who have moose type feet, i.e. 4E or larger widths. I can buy the boots online but I would like to know if anyone's ever dealt with them and what their experience was, i.e, ever have any problems if you had to return something.

Maybe its because the RedSox didn't offer him a public audience for Seppuku!

He has not thrown a pitch yet and I already HATE this signing! Now I see why the Red Sox invested over $100 million on this guy. $50 million for his lame ass arm and $50 million for his ego

This is the kind of press the Indians need...any press at all.
