08:10 AM ET 02.14 | And they're off. The first player to be drafted was redshirt freshman wide receiver Drae Bowles. The last to be picked, the so-called "Mr. Irrelevant," was defensive coordinator John Jancek. In between, 79 UT players and 10 coaches were selected by one of 10 "teams" whose captains are vying to win the "VOLympics." The competition created by new coach Butch Jones is similar to the one he used at Cincinnati. Teams earn points by competing in VOLympic competitions, doing well in class and representing the program positively by volunteering, attending events and adhering to the dress code. Teams can be docked points if players sag their pants or skip a study hall. The winning team will be crowned during a "Night of Champions."

As a Bama fan I really wish TN would get their stuff together. It is soooo much more fun when they are good.

I heard that the Special Olympics has reached out to them to make sure they are not trying to tread on their ground. :-)
(No offense to any member of the SO. I think this is an awsome organization that does a great job.)

I agree!! It is "much more fun when the Vol's football program is good", but damn, the same could be said about Auburn, Arky, Kentucky, Miss, Miss State, Vandy and Missouri's football programs!!! :-)

Auburn won the NC just two year ago. Arky was ranked in the top ten before Harley Gate. Ole Miss and Vandy are programs that seem to be on the rise. The rest there is not excuse other than they are just always going to be tier three SEC teams.
So since you decided to take a shot at some of the SEC little sisters how is your teams conference doing? Who was president the last time a team from your conference won a NC?

Auburn won two years ago, come on dude, that is a long time ago!!! Arky an Ole Miss sucked last year!!! Actually the SEC had 7 "little sisters" last year!!! I have stated many times, that the 12 PAC has/have several "bottom Dwellers"!!! Actually Bush was the Prez, when USC won the NC!!!! :-)

I know you don't want to hear this but USC sucked last year. Even the SEC "bottom dwellers" have an occasional opportunity to jump up and be good. I agree that they have down years but to consider AU and Arky to be bad programs is just plain off. Heck just 10 years ago Bama was teatering on becomming one of those programs like ND that could never do anything other than look to the past.

OK, this is the second consecutive Vol thread you dripping richards have hijacked for inane bee-essing. Your smack wouldn't even make the $0.25 bin at Big Lots. If you're going to step on the subject matter, step it up!
