Memphis gives Justin Fuente one year extension

01:51 PM ET 02.14 | Memphis and head coach Justin Fuente have agreed to a one year contract extension, stretching his deal through the 2017 season. The former TCU offensive coordinator took over the Tigers program after the 2011 season, and went 4-8 in his first season in charge. However, that meager win total was the most since 2008. The Tigers will leave Conference USA for the Big East for the 2013 season, and Fuente's extension gives the program some stability to build on.
