02:29 PM ET 02.14 | The NCAA came up with nine new proposed rules this past week, one of which would ban Boise State from wearing their all blue uniforms at home. The language of the rule states: "To require teams to have either their jersey or pants contrast in color to the playing field." This doesn't single out Boise specifically, as now teams will not be able to wear all green uniforms. However, with several opponents have complained about Boise wearing all blue when playing on their famous blue turf, so it would be surprising if the inspiration for this proposed rule was not the Broncos.

Or just ban teams from using a field color other than green. Allow Boise, Arky St. and the third team using colored fields to continue using their current field until the end of it's life-cycle.

I think it's Central Arkansas (purple/gray) and Eastern Washington (red).

This seem so dumb to me. I couldn't see the opposing players b/c the were wearing a color that matches the field. I can understand if you're watching from above but on the field with them, no way. Can't NCAA players see in 4D like the rest of us?????

BSU will continue to play at a high level regardless of their uniforms. Reportedly, they just signed their best ranked recruiting class ever. The real advantage BSU has vs other teams is thier coaching.

So the NCAA is saying it's okay for Oregon to use the, "all green uniforms on a green field"???? Hmm, does that make any sense???

It's not the players that have the problems with the uniforms while playing the game; it's the coaches that have the problems as they're watching film to prepare for Boise State--because the cameras are looking down at the field from the stands. It's the coaches that have complained about Boise State's all-blue uniforms, not the players.
