Canadiens acquire goaltender Dustin Tokarski

04:13 PM ET 02.14 | The Montreal Canadiens acquired goaltender Dustin Tokarski via trade from the Tampa Bay Lightning for goaltender Cederick Desjardins on Thursday morning. Tokarski was originally selected with the No. 122 overall pick in the 2008 NHL Draft by Tampa Bay. In 33 games this season with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, the 23-year-old goalie has amassed a 18-8-4 record with a .900 save percentage and 2.46 goals against average. In seven career appearances in NHL games (all with Tampa Bay) Tokarski has a 1-3-0 record with an .871 save percentage and 3.54 goals against average. Desjardins has spent the majority of his career in the AHL and has played in two NHL games with the Lightning.
