Mavs, Rockets, Warriors angling for Gordon?

06:11 PM ET 02.14 | The New Orleans Hornets matched the Phoenix Suns' four-year, $58 million offer sheet for guard Eric Gordon's services this summer. Logic would say that means the Hornets see Gordon as a key piece to their future, but there's a chance they're not placing the unmovable tag on Gordon just yet. ESPN's Chris Broussard reports that there's a very slim chance New Orleans would move Gordon, but slim is sort of surprising. The Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors have all reportedly inquired about the 24-year-old guard. And considering Gordon's 16.4 points per game average, 40 percent shooting percentage and injury-riddled seasons of late, perhaps he is not all that locked in as an untouchable.

QUOTE(#2):

None of the mentioned three teams really need him as that have decent to great players at that position.

Dallas - Mayo
Golden State - Thompson
Houston - Harden

Mighty expensive back-up.......
