03:31 PM ET 02.15 | The Traktor Sports Palace has suffered residual damage from the meteor shower that shattered above the Chelyabinsk region in Russia on Friday morning. The walls of the arena have suffered structural damage, which will force all large-scale events to be postponed until a later date. For the Kontinental Hockey League's Traktor Chelyabinsk, this will not affect the conclusion of the team's regular season schedule as they will conclude the regular season on Sunday against Metallurg Magnitogorsk. However, the club is guaranteed to finish in a top-four position in the league's Eastern Conference. This could cause problems as they are scheduled to host playoff games on Feb. 21 and 22. On Monday, structural experts will release their findings on when the arena can re-open.

That was mind boggling to watch. Some people thought it was the end of the world. I would have thought that the Americans had just nuked us.
