Who could land Charles Woodson?

06:08 PM ET 02.15 | Charles Woodson has been released and there is no doubt that he'll have suitors. He's transitioned from his natural corner position to strong safety in this last season and could play there in a successful system. Despite being 36 and turning 37 in October, he could still have a few years ahead of him. He had his career-best season at age 33 when he recorded nine interceptions. In 2011 he had seven interceptions, however teams that are wary of Woodson will most likely look at his injury shortened 2012 season. But nevertheless there is a lack of dominate safeties out there, and his injury riddled 2012 season means some lucky NFL franchise out there could get Charles Woodson for a couple years at a bargain price.

Upgrade for the Pats. I'm sure they'll show interest.

Woodson returns to the Raiders would be my guess.

Whomever signs him, won't be getting much. The guy is far, far past his prime. He will make the occasional big play, but will be burned far more often.

Denver, after that Raven Game could use all the help they can get their hands on, so can the Niners and Pats!

He will go to a team that still has a chance to win it all. I'm also thinking Denver or New England.

I love Chucky's career but hey, this is a 'what have you done lately' game and the past two years the answer is nothing. Two major shoulder injuries in three years, a lot of missed games and I would be very cautious to take this guy on versus a young new player with legs via the draft.
