09:03 AM ET 02.17 | One team that hasn't been publicly mentioned in the Josh Smith Sweepstakes is Milwaukee, although there are whispers the Bucks are interested. The Bucks are in position to offer the Hawks as good of a deal as anyone for Smith, especially if Brandon Jennings or Monta Ellis is involved. Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova, whom the Nets seriously courted during free agency last summer and are still interested in, could also come into play.

Can anyone see J. Smith staying come summer? Answer...nope! This trade won't go down if the Bucks are smart...

This is the deal that makes the most sense for Smith. The Bucks will give hijm the max, which most teams want. And the Hawks will get more value from the Bucks for Smith than any other team will offer. Hawks need to pull the trigger, as the value is less for Smith from here on (and the real possibility of getting nothing this summer).

QUOTE(#11):

It makes sense for the Bucks, obviously. They have 2 star guards that conflict with each other. In order to improve the team, they have to trade Jennings or Ellis. It makes sense for them to get a good big man, since they are lacking Bogut since trading him away as well. However, as already mentioned, the problem is getting Josh Smith to agree to stay with the Bucks for a few years. Right now, Chicago and Indiana are the leaders of the Central Division, which means that it's an uphill battle for the Bucks.

The Bucks have zero chance of signing J. Smith. Why? Because who are you going to package? Another point guard? The Hawks already have too many good guards.

I see Smith for a big man. And one with strong upside. And that's something that the Bucks don't have.
