09:08 AM ET 02.17 | The Clippers say they are not calling around the NBA shopping point guard Eric Bledsoe and center DeAndre Jordan. But for the second time this month reports have circulated connecting the two Clippers with speculation about a trade involving Boston star Kevin Garnett. Gary Sacks, the Clippers' vice president of basketball operations, didn't mention any names, but said "every team has called me" and that "it's my job to call them back and to listen." "I haven't called anybody to say, 'Hey, we have Eric Bledsoe and would you like him?' Or, 'We have DeAndre Jordan or we have anybody and would you want them?' That's not where I am right now with this team," Sacks said in a phone interview from Houston on Saturday. "That's not where we are."

The remote thought of this trade scenario shouldn't have ever transpired from the Clipper camp. I mean come on, D.J. AND Bled for K.G.??? Seriously o.O?

QUOTE(#4):

The Clippers should package Jordan, Bledsoe, and a couple other role players and trade them all to the Lakers for Howard. The Lakers can throw in the towel for the Kobe era and start rebuilding right away. The Clippers get back a star center who can help them win the title. The advantage of this trade is that none of the players involved have to move even a mile away to get to his new team. It's as painless a trade as can possibly be imagined.

Do any of your proposed trades ever happen??

If I were CP and blake- I'd be PISSEDthat the Gm is just sitting on his hands and wasn't trying to move a bench player and overpaid 'token' starter for a legit big manThe GM needs to say- that we are happy with our squad, but if any trade comes along that can improve our team we will listen. period.who's 'feelings ' is he trying to protect? bledsoe ? jordan?

True but it's not that easy to find a sucker team to take DJs contract off their hands apparently !

You want the Clips to deal for damaged goods in Howard? They are better off going after a proven veteran in KG.

That proposal would be a marketing disaster. Can you imagine the Lakers trading one of their stars to a team sharing the same building? Wow...just wow.

Unless it was for CP3 then yes they would make it happen.

KG over Howard?

Dwight must be more damaged then it appears if KG (big fan of his by the way), is a more attractive pick at his age then a young dominant center entering the prime of his career...regardless of his injury.

Ainge is trying to get whatever he can for Garnett. The Clips are not shopping anyone. The Clips can most likely make it to the West Conf. finals with or without Garnett. I think the Celtics need another team to get involved for them to land Josh Smith/ or Jefferson and they need to move Garnett for it to happen.

A little KG love here. Good player but close to retiring. Playing some good ball now but that won't last. Clippers have enough veteran players.

Plus, there's no guarantee he returns next year.
