08:03 AM ET 02.18 | Sometimes a follow is just a follow. Maybe it means nothing. Or maybe it's foreshadowing of what's to come. As first pointed out on the website Pride of Detroit's Twitter feed (courtesy of a reader), Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford recently started following soon-to-be free-agent running back Reggie Bush on the social media site. The Lions are looking for a speed option for their backfield to replace Jahvid Best, and Bush has been one name frequently mentioned as a possibility. ... Bush may end up costing too much money for the Lions, who are about $2 million under next year's projected salary cap with 23 unrestricted free agents on their roster. But the almost 28-year-old is coming off one of his best NFL seasons.

Well you know, he doesn't want everybody to know at this point.

Bush still has some game left.

February 18, 2013  08:59 AM ET

OK, but did anyone tell Matt the Lions do not have the cap room right now to sign a practice squad player to their roster?

"You mean, sexually?" was my first reaction to the headline.

Bush should stay away from Detroit, He would be better off in Atlanta, Dallas or New England if they can afford him, add Green Bay to the List!!!

I guess it's kind of like being with Kim Kardashian without the public shame of actually being with Kim Kardashian.

Or not.

If Stafford can get his teammates to turn the labels out, they might land Bush. Its only weird if it doesn't work.

Getting Bush is always a good thing. Now how about fixing that defense?

If I were a Detroit fan, I'd have lots of labels to turn out.

Every click of your mouse is being analyzed. I was looking for a kitchen faucet 2 months ago, and I'm still seeing ads over there -> for Price-Pfister and Moen.

Bush won't have any of that. Once you go Kardashian you may never go back.
