Brett Bochy trying to crack dad's lineup

08:13 AM ET 02.18 | It's Father's Day every day, at least for a time, in Scottsdale. Aside from the name on the back of his jersey, Brett Bochy feels no different from any of the other young pitchers in big league camp. "It's just a normal spring training," he said Sunday, pausing. "Except with your dad as the manager." There's nothing normal about that last part. Bochy, a right-handed reliever, is a 25-year-old simply trying to soak up tips and add experience while in his first big league camp. He also happens to be the only one of the 37 pitchers in camp who has to pass his dad's office on the way into the clubhouse. "It's pretty special," Bruce Bochy said, smiling. "I'm not going to lie. There's a little added stress that I don't know if I needed, but I'm proud of him."

Attention Dirty Little Fantasy League Team Owners:

The site is paid for and I've sent PayPal requests for league dues to the email addresses you have listed on the CBS site.

I don't have time to chase you folks down for payment this year so I'm doing things a little differently. If payment hasn't been recieved by the end of the day on Sunday, February 24th, your spot will be offered to everyone on the waiting list and the first person to pay gets it.

If you see or have any contact with any of the other team owners, please make sure they're aware of this.

Thanks.

His best chance this season would be pitching at Triple A Fresno.

I actually looked him up too...

Figuring he's in camp just because of his Old Man...

But Nope... he actually showed some potential.

That said - at 25 and in Double A ball - he better get a move on

Hope he's a lot better than his father. ....because his father was a bum....

Perhaps so, but he's a hell of a manager.
