08:14 AM ET 02.18 | Against Indiana over the weekend, there were no outbursts from Matt Painter, which isn't to say all is well with Purdue. For six years running, Painter's Purdue teams have averaged 25.2 victories a year. This year, they are 12-14, and might not win another Big Ten game the rest of the way, the only real hope coming Saturday when they host Northwestern. Has he lost them? He's lost them. It's a Matt Painter-coached team, but in no way is this your typical Matt Painter-coached team. They are almost unrecognizable, except for the black and gold. "Is this the most frustrated you've ever been with a team during your Purdue tenure?" I asked him after the game. He didn't hesitate. "Yes, no doubt about it."
