Hockey could come to Notre Dame Stadium

08:16 AM ET 02.18 | Jack Swarbrick went to one hockey game at a stadium on Sunday, but the Notre Dame AD could see another one in his mind: at Notre Dame Stadium. While nothing of the sort is close to happening, Swarbrick said he sees a time when Notre Dame Stadium hosts an outdoor hockey game in the future. "I think there will be a time and place to do this at Notre Dame Stadium," Swarbrick said after the Irish notched a 2-1 victory over Miami (Ohio) in the opener of the Hockey City Classic at Soldier Field. "It's not imminent. It's nothing soon. But doing this once a year is great for the kids." ... "It's a major undertaking. As I say, there's nothing even remotely planned. But I just think somewhere down the road it'll make sense for us."
