Toronto bidding for 2016 NBA All-Star game

11:26 AM ET 02.18 | The Toronto Raptors have never held the NBA All-Star weekend events in their entire club history. That however may change as the Raptors are bidding to host the events for the first time in 2016. The NBA All-Star weekend extravaganza is an event many fans around the world look forward to. Watching all your favorite NBA players playing under one roof is simply amazing. While we just wrapped up the 2013 NBA-All Star events in Houston, many people are already anticipating next year's All-Star game. With next year's array of events held in New Orleans, Brooklyn and New York are the favorites to host the NBA All-Star weekend events in 2015.

It is a very sad day for the Lakers family. Jerry Buss was the best owner in all of professional sports. Thanks for 30 plus years of providing Los Angeles and their fans many. many memories. You will truly be missed.

I recommend that the NBA give the All-Star game to Toronto, they have been loyal fans since they opened up their doors.

Tell TNT there is a team in Toronto I never get to see them and they seem to be an up and coming team

Would love to see the 2016 NBA All Star game in TO....Toronto seems to be a lock for the 2017 NHL All Star Game (100th anniversary of the Leafs)
