02:04 PM ET 02.18 | Today is the first day that NFL teams can use the franchise tag designation on pending free agents. They have until March 4th to the use the tag, so I wouldn't expect any news on guys getting tagged today. Teams will continue to negotiate with the potential franchise players over the next couple weeks before tagging them.

Imagine being the new head coach of a team with that kind of cap room. I'd never sleep. I'd just watch film, take obsessive notes and make crazy plans.
