02:37 PM ET 02.18 | Mario Cristobal has taken his second new job in a month, accepting an offer to become Alabama's new offensive line coach.
Cristobal was fired as head coach of FIU in December, a move that surprised some just two years after he won a Sun Belt championship with the Panthers. He quickly landed a job as Miami's associate head coach, returning to his alma mater and a place he'd already served as an assistant twice. Now, he's left that job for Alabama, where offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland had recently joined Chip Kelly's staff with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He must be getting a helluva raise to leave his own school to go to Alabama. Regardless, glad to have him. I hope he does a great job.

Too bad for him... what a down-grade in the career department... at least he won't have to deal with academic issues at ala-F__kin-bama... there are none...

UM you needed to pony up some money. Now Bama has a pipeline into South Florida. As much as this hurts the rest of SEC, I think it will hurt UM the most. Who here is going to be surprised if in the next few years Bama pulls some big talent out of South Florida? This hurts to say, but I was pulling for UM on this one and they let me down.
