05:28 PM ET 02.18 | Andrea Bargnani's days as a member of the Toronto Raptors has been waning for some time, but it's looking more and more like the 7-foot gunner won't be traded until this summer. The Toronto Star's Doug Smith reports that the former No. 1 overall pick will likely be moved this summer. Bargnani is owed $22 million over the remainder of his contract. Most notably, his name popped up in a rumor involving the Chicago Bulls, who would send the beefy contract of forward Carlos Boozer to Toronto in exchange for the Italian big man. Bargnani missed 28 games of the Raptors' 53 games before the All-Star break, mostly because of an elbow injury. In the rotation, he's lost playing time to Amir Johnson and rookie Jonas Valanciunas.

I was holding the door open for him. Guess I will shut it for the time being.
