05:35 PM ET 02.18 | Once rumored to be scheming a joining of forces with Dwight Howard, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul has a pretty good thing going with the Lakers' neighbor. Paul has Blake Griffin and a cast of players that have made the Clippers into a new member of the NBA elite. As of now, those days where some teams dreamed of putting Paul and Howard together are long gone. They're probably long gone in Paul's mind as well. That is, if he ever had such thoughts. With the Clippers reportedly interested in Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett, Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Paul's say in any of the Clippers' dealings goes a long way. "If Chris wants Vinny [Del Negro], he'll be the coach," one source tied to the Clippers and Paul said. "If Chris wants [Kevin Garnett], they'll push harder for it."

Lets rock the boat, make a trade with the Lakers for Howard.

Why not??? The Clipps haven't proven anything ,"AS OF YET"!!! If the Clipps win the NBA title this year then we can talk!!! Paul is a very good point guard and runs the Clipps very well!

QUOTE(#11):

I suggested that in one of yesterday's threads. The Clippers should package some of their good young players and send them to the Lakers for Howard. The Lakers can start rebuilding, and the Clippers get one more special piece to help them win it all.No one has to pack up and move anywhere. It would be the smoothest trade in NBA history.

No damaged goods please.

I don't think so. The Lakers are not giving away one of our best players for Clippers garbage. Try again.

You seem to have something against the Lakers. Who are you?
