08:03 AM ET 02.19 | Darrelle Revis' future in green has hit another gray area, of sorts. [Darrelle Revis] was "speechless" when he caught wind of the trade rumors swirling around him, but the New York Jets cornerback said he and coach Rex Ryan didn't focus on gossip when they finally spoke. So what did Revis discuss with his coach? "A bunch of things," Revis told NFL Network. ... "[It] was other things, you know, 'How's the family, how you doing?' I know Rex. He wants me to be here, but me and him both know, it's a business. Kremer asked if Ryan has any tangible say in Revis' future with the team. "Nah, I wouldn't think. I'm sure he'll have a say so, but overall, no," Revis said. "I mean, no, you know? It starts from the top. It starts with (team owner) Woody Johnson."

Revis wants to stay with the Jets.

That in itself should put him on a concussion watch.

He's the only player of true trade value on their team. May as well trade him and rebuild.

Trade Tebow for a CFL player.

Exactly. Why on earth would anyone intentionally want to play for that team right now? I guess it makes him feel superior being surrounded by idiots.

How did Woody make his money again?

The Negotiated himself off the team, now he wants the public to feel sorry for him!!!!!

Coming off a season mostly on IR with an ACL?

Some guys come back, some don't. Even his trade value is somewhat questionable. And, unless he's willing to renegotiate his contract, he's an expensive guy to pick up.

But, Hail to the Redskins!

My guess is, it makes him feel right at home.

Better! :)

Revis is asking $60mil guaranteed. That's too much on just a corner. You could get two good pass rushers for that money. Great pass rush would make an average corner look good.

HAIL!!!

I think he's still going to want big money too. He may even end up in New England...

Not if he wants big money he won't. And not if he wants to play pro football. He might get a job as a parking lot attendant at a casino if he paints his face red and changes his name to Chief Wounded Knee.

Could get 'slippery'!!! HA!!!

Also, I think he wants to go to a contender. That leaves NE out.

Revis, you got one good contract out of the team. Take those millions and be done with it.
