08:11 AM ET 02.19 | Long the subject of trade speculation, could Alfonso Soriano finish out his deal in the Windy City? [Soriano] says he wants to win with the Chicago Cubs, but if the team falls out of contention -- and the Cubs are expected to struggle again after 101 losses last season -- Soriano would be interested in being traded. "I want to go somewhere where I'd feel comfortable," Soriano said Monday. Soriano is in the seventh year of an eight-year deal which pays him a total of $36 million over the final two seasons. He has a no-trade clause which he invoked last year stopping him from being moved to the San Francisco Giants. ... Soriano said there were "six or seven" teams in the "east or center" that he's given the Cubs as potential landing spots if he's moved.

QUOTE(#1):

God knows he wouldn't be comortable winning over in San Francisco. I guess winning 61 times a year in Chicago is still winning.

If he were to end up on the White Sox, I'll stop watching baseball.

I would turn into an Indians fan right before I blew my brains out. But sure, briefly.

Yeah but at least he would be comfortable over there

Well, that's what really matters in the end.

A strange thing is happening on the Community Page. Watch it for a minute and see if you think so too.

I was looking at it a few minutes ago. It didn't seem to be changing/updating, but now it seems fine.

What GM in his right mind would trade for 12 at his age, owed to much on his current contract, a defensive liability, and have to give up to many top prospects to get him.
