08:21 AM ET 02.19 | As the NHL season nears a third of its schedule complete, the Red Wings hold a dubious honor. They are the only team that hasn't scored a power-play goal on the road. And now they visit Nashville Tuesday, which, despite its 6-5 loss at Colorado Monday, ranks third in the NHL in goals-against average and is sixth in penalty killing, mostly because of goaltender Pekka Rinne. Red Wings coach Mike Babcock shuffled his power-play units during practice Monday at Bridgestone Arena. He said he's not sure what combinations he'll settle on for the game, but said forward Mikael Samuelsson will be bumped up to the right point on the first unit. "I just need someone to shoot the puck," [Babcock said].

If the Wings get the man-advantage, I don't like their chances against Rinne... that guy is the only real reason Nashville is staying afloat.

They could always have a kind-hearted linesman help them out the way they did the Avs yesterday..

He was a mile offside, apparently the epidemic of blindness in the corps of linesman shows no signs of abating. Sadly, I don't think the old men in Detroit could move in so smoothly, and fake out the refs...

The linesman claimed he thought a Nashville player passed the puck back into his own zone and Duchene just seized the opportunity. Believe that if you want - I call BS all over.COACH'S CHALLENGE!

They explored the Coach's Challenge before, and I would love for it to be integrated into the game, situations like this would nake the officials feel as shameful as they make the game look sometimes...

I'm blind, I'm deaf, I wanna be a Ref chants come to mind in the sequence...

Another interesting concept... especially if your team has no advantage with a power play...

OH Jeeze.....I saw that...blatant is the word I'd use....but you gotta admire Trotz...he was upset but he handled the press well later...no rants..all class

I agree Roamer....they got nothing to shake it up with. As a long time fan I just gotta hold on to the hope that they figure this out..otherwise they'll be calling to see if they can get early spring foursome rates with the Leafs

I don't know what the linesmen were looking at, but it was such an obvious offsides play that it seemed impossible to miss. I mean the guy was across the line then reaches back a picks up the puck. You couldn't be more obvious.

the offsides was so obvious, but the six goals on Mason, who just had a bad outting, was the deciding factor..Rinne did his part on creating the comeback.....Preds giving up six goals is hard to believe....tonight's game ought to be exciting..we have a lot of RedWing fans in Music City to contend with....going to be fun....going to be loud....

Throw this season out with the wash, mh, just a injury filled season, I'm hoping.

That's not gonna happen. They'll make the playoffs. They just won't go anywhere.

Except for the Hawks the whole division doesn't have any get up and go.
