11:48 AM ET 02.19 | Minnesota Wild forward Devin Setoguchi has been fined by the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Tuesday morning for his hit on Detroit Red Wings defenseman Kyle Quincey on Sunday night. The league determined that Setoguchi would be fined a total of $8,108.11 for the incident, which is the maximum allotment the league is allowed to levy under the collective bargaining agreement. Setoguchi will not be suspended any games for the play. The fine is determined based upon Setoguchi being a first time offender. This allows the legue to fine him either $10,000 or one-half of his daily salary, which ever of the two is less.

I'd bet this was ne of the sticking points in the negotiations. I can hear those two doofuses..(doofi? not sure of the plural here) now;
