03:21 PM ET 02.19 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Da'Quan Bowers was released from jail on $10,000 bond after his gun arrest in New York according to a report from Pewter Report, but may have a tough time to keep from returning to prison.

Maybe I can get away with this...the laws are so screwed up you can buy a gun but you cant transport!!!

Barry Switzer did basically the same thing, and was fined $3,500 and given a 1-year "deferred adjudication." Jerry Jones then fined him $75K. Times have changed, huh?

If the rookie symposium doesn't have a lecture on firearm responsibility, now would be a great time to start.
