04:25 PM ET 02.19 | FIFA has announced that they will be using goaline technology for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. FIFA will be taking bids from companies with the technology to see which is the most suitable for the major soccer event. "Interested GLT companies will be invited to join an inspection visit to the Confederations Cup venues, currently scheduled for mid-March, with a final decision due to be confirmed in early April," FIFA said in a statement. It is a great step for the sport and technology that is greatly needed.

The great Lionel Messi didn't look nearly as great as Ronaldo did versus Arsenal.
